Purchased in 1989, our house has been greatly extended and improved. Cortijo, meaning 'small farmhouse', is in fact two properties, the 'casa', or house, and the adjacent 'casita', a smaller house. Set in its own 10,000 sq metres of grape, almond and olive producing land each accommodation is comfortably independent of its neighbour. With both houses sleeping 6 the property can be used as one large booking whilst still maintaining a cosy seclusiony.

La Zahurda comprises of two adjacent properties (can be booked separately) each having 3 bedrooms and sleeping 6. It is a superb solution for 2 families holidaying together or a large group of friends ensuring that little privacy whenever required; cosy seclusion we call it and it works.

Nestled beneath the southerly sheer fortress-like face of Comares the property enjoys spectacular mountain and sea views. Located down a secluded side track, only a 3 minute drive from Comares, with no passing traffic to spoil the tranquility. The choice is yours, stay home, self-cater and relax around the large sun-soaked pool terrace or take the 20 minute walk up to the village exploring its tourist free, narrow, winding streets. Un-commercialised, yet catering for basic everyday needs you will find a supermarket, post office, pharmacy, restaurant, tapas bars and a couple of banks.
